Welcome to my jam submission Strikepoint Eternity. The theme for the MiniFantasy Community Jam 4 was The Last Spell I ended up having a couple ideas for the game which led me down a different path to start with. Then I decided a bit more what I wanted to do and dove into learning how to make a tactical rpg work.
Excuses holidays, wife having major surgery, and work demands pulled me away and then I also just dragged much of the month and allowed so many other things to distract me that I didn't need to let happen. It is what it is and now, moving onwards.
The Back Cover
Ancient structures have risen from beneath the jungle floors on Carver VI. Academics, scientists, and treasure hunters have been racing to these newly arisen structures to try and unlock their secrets.
One thing has kept happening since the structures have arose. Scientists, treasure hunters, and others investigating having disappeared. It is expected but it seems to be increasing to include sometimes not even inside the structures.
You have been given command of a hastily gathered military team to investigate what is happening on Carver VI. Tip of the spear command says.
Will you find what is happening to these civilians or will you just be added to their number to have disappeared without a trace to what happened to you?
Controls
- WASD to move the camera around game board
- Left mouse click to select a unit
- ESC to release unit selection
- Left mouse click to select different actions from the action bar. The number keys will allow you to select and deselect actions you want to perform.
- 2 left clicks to confirm where you want to shoot or move
